What American accent do you have?

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

Boston
North Central
The Inland North

No, that's right. I was born and raised in the West and currently reside in California. Why is it the lowest common denominator, though?

I was close to Midland. 96% West and 95% Midland.

Accent quiz? I tested as ""North Central" is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw "Fargo" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot."

LOL I am a Bostonian thru and thru!!!! Boston was the highest, The West next....South was the lowest!!! I've lived in the south for over 9yrs now and still haven't picked up the accent!!! I have never been considered from either the Midwest OR Canada!!! New York, yes, but most people can't tell the difference between Boston and New York (except Bostonians and New Yorkers that is!!!)

Love these quizzes tho!!!
