I'm still well over 140 and fat. All that work to get down into the 130s every day of the week - out the window. I just did the math and I gained seven pounds in November. Seven pounds from just six extra days off plan. That's more than a pound a day over vacation and Thanksgiving.

And this Friday I give blood so it's a planned binge day, plus I forgot to mention in an earlier post that there is a staff dinner this month, so there is another day off plan. All I can do is diet my butt off and try to maintain my current weight until the holidays are over. But seven pounds in one month? I can't go on like that In December and the first half of January or I will be back to my start weight in no time.

I've been on NutriSystem since March and only have 11 pounds lost to show for it. I always get down to the low 140s and no matter what I do or how low I might go for a short time, but body come right back to this weight, and it's a weight I hate and don't feel good at.

My weekend:
Brad and I went hiking along the San Leandro shoreline on Friday, but it was bitter cold with a high wind and I was miserable. Our walk was short - only an hour 15 minutes.

Saturday we went to church and then he had accidentally left some cheese (full fat) at my house so we drank wine and munched on cheese in the afternoon (my fat cells loved that - they stuffed themselves full of all that fatty cheese). In the evening we wrapped and wrapped and wrapped presents. The Vicki box is due out no later than December 10th. We wrapped every single present and managed to cram it all in one medium-sized box. We also got Mom and Bill's presents wrapped and boxed.

The next issue was getting the boxes to work. Brad said he would come by this morning to get them and drop them at work. While he was at it I asked for a ride to the gym. So we did that. The boxes are now at work. I hope to get them weighed tomorrow so that I can print out postage slips and get them mailed off. The mail room here will not sell postage for personal packages, so I'll do that online.

Today I went to the gym and did one hour of upper body work (never really got to my abs), followed by 30 minutes on the elliptical. I wanted to the the stairmaster, but the one working machine was being used, as were all the Treadclimbers. Then I walked to work from BART, even though the bus would have been faster today.

Here's some recent photos. Click any of the thumbnails for a larger size. The gratuitous cat picture is too cute!
