I had a mini binge yesterday so I have no numbers from yesterday. I estimate a little over 3000 calories for the whole day. The binge started after eating all the food I'd brought for the day (and more) so about 10 pm I had some crackers and a couple of large peanut butter sandwiches down the hall at work. At least I used the sugar-free jelly. Then I had some wine when I got home. :-p Of course this made me gain weight, but I did weigh in this morning.
Weight this morning: 133 (One month ago: 130.4)
Calories burned in exercise today: 312
I walked to the laundromat and back, then all the way from my apartment to the Safeway at Southshore. About 5.2 miles total. I had to stop at the laundromat on my way back down because I accidentally left the blanket I washed there. Thankfully it was still sitting where I put it!
When I got to Safeway I bought some vegetables (zucchini was on sale again), and a couple of salads in case I get really hungry again tonight.
I'm taking Sunday off work so I'll post my weigh-in on Monday. Brad and I are hoping to go for a nice long hike without having to worry about getting me to work.
Boss J is back to crazy again and took my Internet away for a week so I don't know what I will be back! I made one tiny mistake! Argh!
Bye for a week. I'll try to do a quick post from home if I can!!!!!!!!!

This blog is my struggle to move toward Christian maturity, and the potholes I hit on the road of life. My blog went from being about religion to being about diet. It is time to bring it back to Christ, since only in Him is life and happiness found.

Bosses & friends :)
Calories eaten yesterday: 1045

So exhausted today. Hard to workout and I could do very little. I had to strength for weight training, and no energy for cardio. I managed 30 minutes on the bike at level 1.
I may have to move my doctor's appointment. L wants her birthday off and my appointment is currently scheduled for the next morning. If Brad and I are working 12 hour shifts how can I be awake and he get the time off to take me to the doctor? So I am exploring getting my blood tests done this Friday and then moving the doctor appointment up a week or two.
Boss J is back today acting all sweet. Either 1) L's e-mail snapped him back to reality, or 2) he's bi-polar and in another upswing. *sigh* It's so hard coping with his moods.
He asked me about the 20 seconds silence on Open Forum last week. I feel bad that I had to repeat the lie from my e-mail last week. He thanked me for being honest (if only he knew!). I had to be honest that there was silence because he could have been listening and then I would have been in trouble if I said there was no silence!
I hate lying. Hate it hate it hate it. I am working on doing my job better so that I won't feel the need to lie in the future.
I felt so tired and blah today. Brad saw how down I was and asked if I wanted anything. I took him up on it and asked for an Americano with two extra shots (we had this last week and it was the best coffee EVER!).
Later he showed up with a gift. It's from the Forever in Blue Jeans collection. It's theme is Caring, and is a figuring of a girl with brown hair in blue jeans and a t-shirt holding a cat that looks a bit like Abby. It is SO me. :) Along with it he gave me a card of a walking trail that reminds him of our hike, and inside it contains a reminder to live by faith every day. It all fits me so perfectly.

Race photos are up!
Calories eaten yesterday: 1211
Fat: 24g (19%)
Carbs: 82g (28%)
Protein: 157g (53%)
Weight this morning: 133.2 (One month ago: 132.6)
Calories burned in exercise today: 175
Above where I was last week at this time. For now I will hope for the best and hope it is just the sodium in the pickles I ate last night that is doing it. I'm SO hungry but I know that every calorie I eat goes straight to fat and I feel so fat - like the Pillsbury Dough Girl with fat all over me. Must...lose...weight!
All my Bay To Breakers photos are up - they cover the day before and the day of the race, including food photos of what I ate. And yes, it includes all my Sport Photo pictures since they finally allow a download of the photos (for a hefty fee of course).
Walked down to BART, took the train to the City to get my mail, and then walked from my stop to work when I came back. I stopped in at Starbucks for an iced coffee.

Working and working out on Memorial Day
Calories eaten yesterday: 862

Carbs: 70g (34%)
Protein: 97g (47%)
Weight this morning: 134 (One month ago: 133)
Calories burned in exercise today: 337
Made it to the gym. Because of the holiday the bus only runs once an hour so I had to leave a half hour later than usual (but it did mean an extra half hour of sleep, too!). I managed almost a whole workout. I did 55 minutes of weight training and then 30 minutes on the stairmaster. I dripped sweat all over the place and my tank top and towel were both soaked! :) I walked to work from the train station for a little extra calorie burn. :)
Yes, I am at work today. I work all holidays that fall on a regular work day and Memorial Day always does. The good news is that it looks like I can take Memorial Day next Sunday and do a longer hike with Brad. Yesterday's hike being cut short because I had to get to work sucked royally. So I'll take next Sunday off. :)
Tomorrow the reign of terror begins again. Boss J will be back from his uber long weekend that began last Thursday. God help us all.

Yay for showing a loss this week. Three pounds from my last weigh-in two weeks ago. :) I'm sure it's a fluke though and not a real loss. :-p
Friday I did the grocery shopping and some chores and food prep. Then Brad and I went to Costco. We spent the rest of the evening relaxing.
Saturday after church we had to leave early because they got such a late start on lunch. We did a short hike and and found and checked out a short trail I've been looking at. We did only a very small section of it at that time. We'll come back later for the rest.
Saturday evening we stopped at Starbucks, then got gas, and went to Kohl's and then Bed, Bath and Beyond looking for a foil cutter for wine bottles. Bed, Bath, and Beyond had them so I bought two.
Then we went to Lourd's so I could have a scoop of Rocky Road, and then to Applebee's for drinks (I had a Cosmo and a Mochatini). We then ended up at Nob Hill Foods and Brad bought me a bottle of wine. The wine is to properly anoint and break in the wine glasses I ordered last week. They are special wine glasses that hold an entire bottle of wine. I got one to use and one to store in case the first one breaks. :)
Today we went hiking and knocked off a few more trails. I'm looking into taking next Sunday off to do a much longer hike. We wanted to do a longer hike today but I had to get to work. :(

Book review - Twentieth Century Prophecy
Twentieth Century Prophecy: Jeane Dixon, Edgar Cayce by James Bjornstad (out of print but available used at Amazon)
Mr. Bjornstad spends half this book talking about Jeane Dixon and half about Edgar Cayce. Ms. Dixon has largely fallen out of the public eye since her death, but Cayce still enjoys some fame in certain circle. Cacye's Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) is still around.
The author talks about each of them is very straightforward terms, relating their early life, how they came to their vocations, and prophecies they have made. Finally, he examines each of them to see if they are prophets of God as defined by the Bible.
Since this book was written in 1970, it's very interesting to look back at the predictions of Jeane Dixon that have not come true in the time since the book was published. It's actually quite hilarious how many prediction she made of huge events that never came to pass.
Cayce is not so straightforward as a prophet - the majority of his work is in "readings" he did for other people rather than predictions of events that could be verified. He did have knowledge while doing readings that he did not have in his normal life so I believe something was truly going on with him, but I don't believe it was from God. The author finishes this section by reviewing several books about Cayce and his work.

FEAR
Calories eaten yesterday: 1168
Fat: 20g (16%)
Carbs: 70g (25%)
Protein: 132g (46%)
Calories burned in exercise today: 262
Things at work just keep getting worse. No matter how much I improve it's never good enough. Only complete perfection is "enough." I never hear about the improvements, just the areas lacking. On top of that I think boss J is purposefully causing Conex switching problems to make sure I am right there during Open Forum. It's happened for two days straight now, at different times. I don't know whether he did it himself or whether he asked someone else to do it, but I have little doubt that he is doing it looking to make sure I am standing right there at the switches, and if I am not, having a reason to fire me.
Yes, he wants me gone. There is not a doubt in my mind. He doesn't like me personally or professionally. I am trying so hard, but it seems everything is a forgone conclusion. FEAR pervades this place when he is here, and long after he leaves, and that is how he "supervises" - through fear. If "perfect love casteth out fear" (1 John 4:18) which spirit is he acting in? Where is the mercy?
And so I live in fear - of boss J, of my job, of my livelihood. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry boss. I am praying that God will soften his heart to show mercy, and give me favor in his eyes. Please pray for me. Only God can change him.
The ironically funny part of all this is it started because I had logged a mistake. I am being punished for telling the truth! If I hadn't logged it, no one would have known better. No stations or programming were affected. No one was hurt. No programming was lost. Nada. Nothing. And yet it has snowballed into an effort to get me fired. My stomach is always in knots.
J is out of control and needs to be reigned in. God help us all.
-----
Today was laundry day. I got a late start because all this trouble at work has made me absent-minded. I couldn't find my keys and spent a half hour looking for them. I finally found them in a spot I never would have expected - the inside pocket of my backpack. They were supposed to be in my purse, but an angry boss makes for a stressed out and absent-minded Victoria.
Having found the keys I walked to the laundromat, did the laundry, walked back and put it away, then had some breakfast (1 cup of liquid egg whites). Then I walked to the train, and walked from my stop into work - about an hour and a half total.
Weekend plans - tomorrow is groceries and food prep, then Brad will take me to Costco. Saturday is church in the morning and Applebee's that night for drinks because today is payday. Sunday I hope to weigh-in and then hike with Brad before work.
I'll be posting a book review this weekend (about Jeane Dixon & Edgar Cayce). Watch for that. I came into possession of some out-of-print books a while back so I have been busy reading and reviewing them. Most are available used through Amazon.

Hurt hammies & preposterous propositions
Calories eaten yesterday: 1023
Fat: 20g (18%)
Carbs: 68g (27%)
Protein: 140g (55%)
Calories burned in exercise today: 333
Went to the gym today and did one hour of weight training (upper and lower body) and decided to do 30 minutes on the elliptical for cardio. Then I took the train to work and walked to work from my stop.
My hamstrings are still really sore. I can do all my other stretches just fine, but bending over and trying to touch my hands to the floor is really painful. One website about running says this can be caused by "running or sprinting downhill at speeds that you are not accustomed to. Running on slopped roads and banked surfaces can cause a hamstring strain as the muscle is over stretched to keep a balanced running stride."
I was certainly running downhill sections in the race, especially toward the end. I let momentum carry me and it felt very much like gliding. I guess it strained my hamstrings a bit though. I did one hamstring exercise at the gym today because that area is obviously weak.
Tomorrow is laundry and Friday is groceries and Costco.
The election returns from yesterday are in. There was only a 22.7% average voter turnout statewide. All propositions went down in defeat except 1F - freezing government salaries in bad years. Hey, I didn't get a cost-of-living pay raise this year, and probably won't get one next year; why should government people be any different?
Here's what Wikipedia has to say about Proposition 1F: "The measure prohibits the state commission that sets salary levels for the governor, other top state officials, and members of the California State Legislature...from increasing those salaries if the state General Fund is expected to end the year with a deficit."

Special election voting day

Still feeling boss J’s displeasure even though he hasn’t said anything directly. I don’t know what to do other than mind my Ps and Qs in my duties and pray that God will change his heart.
Today was a special election in California. They are trying to solve the budget crisis and want us to vote on various cuts. My exercise today was walking to my polling place and back (15 minutes each way), then down to BART, then from my stop to work.
I’m still sore from the race. Part of it is not being in as good shape as last year, and part is not stretching before or after. I need to do that today as soon as the boss leaves, and I need to be more careful about stretching in the future.
Anyway, no gym today because I knew I wouldn't be able to work out well with my soreness. I haven’t decided about tomorrow. I’d like to go since it will be my last chance to workout this week (besides walking).
Another reason I couldn't make it to the gym today was that I deleted some Internet connecting preferences on my computer yesterday (the work one doesn't work anymore and I wanted to get rid of the BodyBugg one, etc.) In doing this cleaning I accidentally erased my home preferences so I couldn't connect when I got home last night.
I spent nearly a half hour on the phone with Earthlink trying to get my access back. In the end I have a different access than before and am connected to the Internet 24/7 instead of having to connect. This method doesn't work right away, though (I have to refresh pages a couple of times for it to notice I'm connected) so I don't like it as much.
I'm working on getting my Bay To Breakers photos up on Flickr. So far I am cought up to dinner the night before the race. Here's the Bay To Breakers 2009 set. Keep an eye on it as I add photos over the next several days.

The Bay To Breakers race
Calories burned in exercise Friday: 73
Calories burned in exercise Saturday: 89
Calories burned in exercise Sunday: 653 (the race plus walking after)
The boss is still on the rampage at work, but I guess I should write about my weekend and Bay To Breakers.
Friday I did stuff around the house. Brad had to work late so by the time he showed up we just lounged around.
Saturday we didn’t stay for lunch at church. We hit McDonald’s for breakfast. Lunch was the snacks at church, and 7-Eleven and Starbucks after church. We spent some time preparing for the race the next day. Dinner was the pizza we planned with the chocolate dunkers for dessert. Yum yum!
Sunday I got up about 5:30 and Brad drove me to the West Oakland BART where I quickly caught a train. It was so warm I didn’t even need a sweatshirt and I drank all of my Gatorade before the race began. I got in the porta-potty line and it was so long I barely had a chance to use one of them before the race started!
I didn’t feel nearly as good as last year and the oppressive heat only made it worse. I paced myself as best as I could, slowing down to walk a few times to catch my breath, but ran most of the course. I had to stop at the mile 2 water stop because I drank all my liquid before the race began and by mile 4 I was pouring the cups over my head to cool down.
I hit the finish line at 1:34:something (including the time it took to cross the start line and my official time was just over an hour thirty minutes at 1:30:12 with an average pace of 12:06 per mile. I had been hoping to at least come in under 1:30:00.
Overall I came is 8193 out of 21117 official finishers, 3315 out of 11394 female finishers, and 1093 out of 3140 female finishers ages 30-39.
After the race there was a lot of samples and giveaways at Footstock so I hung around there longer than I normally would have. I even won some SF Bay ride worth $26 (don’t remember the exact details at the moment).
I took the 29 Sunset bus to the Balboa BART station and took the train to Fruitvale. Brad picked me up and took me home where I took a bath and then relaxed for a while. Pictures of Bay To Breakers and the before and aftermath are forthcoming. By the way, when I laid back in the tub I could actually see my hipbones! :) Yay for hipbones!
After relaxing for a while we went to Southshore mall and we went to Petco for fish filters, then had some treats at Starbucks, and then went to McDonald’s for lunch. Brad wanted to show me the newly opened Kohl’s store. They had some great sales and I ended up buying a paint-splattered tank top for me and a baby outfit for April’s baby-boy-to-be. Then we went to Lourd’s ice cream and I got a scoop of Rocky Road ice cream with mini M&Ms topping.
Then we went back home and Brad took a shower. We walked to Safeway for Barefoot wine, and ended up with the only red Barefoot they had – Merlot. We drank some before heading off to Applebee’s for dinner.
Brad paid for the dinner (2 for $20) and I paid for the drinks, which were a lot more expensive. They had a different bartender who made my Mochatinis too strong. I never finished the second one. I also had a Mudslide because binges don’t happen very often. :) Brad forgot to bring the camera or I would have gotten some really good photos of the food.
Today we slept in and then went to Walmart for some things I needed. They didn’t have everything. I suggested going to Costco so I could buy Diet Coke, but then remembered there’s a Walmart store right by there, so we went there to get the stuff the first Walmart didn’t have. They did have it.
Then Brad dropped me off at work where boss J’s oppressiveness and hatred of me as a person and employee are paramount. I planned on doing a 24-hour fast today after two days of binging and the fear and stress engendered by J makes that easy.
J was planning on immediate shift changes to punish Brad and I and reward L, but L’s father is still alive and she needs to work nights until he dies at which time the shift changes will happen. Brad will go to swing shift, I will work overnights, and L will be rewarded with the morning shift. Brad and I found out that he asked her a month ago if she would work mornings!
So now Bay To Breakers is over and it’s back to a boss who hates me and wants to hurt me as bad as possible hoping that I will quit. New policies are about to be enacted and "no Internet" will likely being one of them, meaning no more blog updates. Sorry about that, but draconian bosses like to enact draconian measures. :(

And things at work just keep getting worse...

Things at work just keep getting worse...
Word came down from boss yesterday that Brad might be moved off of the morning shift, likely replaced by L, who currently works nights. The morning shift is a "privilege." This means that Brad would be moved to afternoons and he would finally be able to hurt me good by putting me back on nights. I am stressed! Brad also informed me that he got laid into good by J yesterday, not just me. He's on a total rampage. I want a cheeseburger and fries!!! Argh!
J likened Mr. Camping to a General who we take orders from. Damn his military training! He treats us like boot camp recruits who need to be punished for every minor infraction! Last December at the staff Christmas dinner he stated "(Now I have) power!" He tried to make light of it ("Just kidding!"), but Brad and I knew it was dangerous.
I have one on J's statement of video, though I think he said it one more time that I didn't record. The statement is at 3:15. The truth is that J does have power since Rick Prime (who was J's boss) retired and no one replaced him. He now has no one to answer to.
I was so stressed out last night that when L suggested I have a glass of wine before bed I decided to do that. My bedtime cottage cheese didn't tempt me at all when I am that upset so I swapped it out for the wine and my total calories stayed in check. I'm happy with my total since it was a gym day and I worked out hard.
Walked to the laundromat and back, then down to the train station, then from my stop to work. I was angry and stressed over everything happening and work and did my 30 minutes walk from the train in about 25 minutes!
On top of all this, Brad has to work late tomorrow so we can't run to Costco or anything. He was also planning on working Saturday night. I made a BIG stink about that since that's the night we're supposed to have our pizza party. I even checked on the price of the pizza today - told the guy exactly what I was going to order and that I would be back Saturday.
Anyway, he didn't bother to check my schedule that we had big plans so he agreed to work overtime Saturday night. Grrr...men! After I impressed upon him - with tears - how important this was to me, he managed to get Y to fill in those four hours so he could be with me. I know overtime is great, but he promised to spend this Saturday night with me so we could pig out on pizza before the big race Sunday morning. This is not just any weekend where I would be sad but deal with it. This is a very special weekend that happens only once a year.
I am afraid to eat today. When I am stressed and upset I either don't eat or I binge. This weekend is going to be two days of binging so I really don't want to binge now. I know if I start eating I won't be able to stop.

Still in trouble at work...
Calories eaten yesterday: 980
Fat: 23g (21%)
Carbs: 70g (29%)
Protein: 119g (49%)
Weight this morning: 131.2 (One month ago: 131)
Calories burned in exercise today: 362
I did really well on calories yesterday. I was aiming for under 1000. If only I could keep my calories that low all the time! With my metabolism it takes less than 1000 to lose weight, but I can't eat that low every day, so I end up barely maintaining. *sigh*
Today was the gym - one hour of weights followed by 30 minutes on the stairmaster that had me dripping sweat on the floor. :) I walked the last 30 minutes into work to save the bus fare and get more exercise.
That was my last workout before Bay To Breakers. Tomorrow is laundry, Friday is groceries, food prep, and race prep, and Saturday is church and hanging out with Brad.
The thing at work seems to have been resolved, but only after I got a royal chewing out from the boss. :-p Here is my MySpace blog post on the matter. Anyone should be able to read it whether or not you have a MySpace account.

In trouble at work again
Calories eaten yesterday: 1184
Fat: 25g (19%)
Carbs: 66g (23%)
Protein: 169g (58%)
Weight this morning: 131.4 (One month ago: 132.8)
Calories burned in exercise today: 190
Ran into San Francisco to get my mail. Exercise was walking to the train station, and then from the train station into work. I stopped at WalMart on the way to pick up a few items.
I'm in trouble at work again. Mr. Camping asked me to do three checks on one of our stations and I only remembered two. Since he's the "big boss" my boss is on my case about it. We are not allowed to make mistakes around here in anything dealing with Mr. Camping.
Tomorrow I hope to hit the gym again and then Thursday is laundry.

Week 104, Day 2
Calories eaten yesterday: 789
Fat: 20g (23%)
Carbs: 43g (22%)
Protein: 110g (55%)
Weight this morning: 135.4 (One month ago: 135.4)
Calories burned in exercise today: 348
As you can see above, I haven't lost an ounce in the last month. :(
Made it to the gym today, yay! I did one hour of weight training and 30 minutes on the stairmaster, mostly at level 5. I took the train to work and walked the last 30 minutes in for more exercise. It's warming up so I ditched my leggings for a skort at the gym. :) Yay for summer!
Tomorrow is my bi-monthly mail run into the City, and then hopefully I can hit the gym again on Wednesday. I did mostly upper body today with some lower body stuff, so I guess I'll do more lower body stuff on Wednesday.
The pajamas I ordered arrived! I got a "Dog Person" nightshirt for April, a "I can't talk right now, I'm at the gym working out" nightshirt for myself, and a "Wine Princess" PJ set (tank top and pants) for myself. :)

Busy weekend with lots of exercise and I still gained! Friday I did grocery shopping at Safeway. One of the yogurts I bought burst open in my cart and in the ensuing drama I somehow ended up back at home with only two of the three single serve yogurts I paid for. So back to the store again and get the missing yogurt and back home again - 48 minutes of aerobic steps total! Then Brad and I went walking (about 5.6 miles).
Saturday after church Brad and I went hiking (about 7.9 miles), and we did again today before work (about 5 miles).
I ate way too much Saturday and since it was a pay week we went to Applebee's and I had two Mochatinis.
Next week there will be no weigh-in due to the Bay To Breakers race. I'll be pigging out on Saturday, and running followed by more pigging out on Sunday. Back to my regular diet on Monday. So there will be two week 104s before I actually get to weigh-in.
Not very hungry today after pigging out yesterday. I'm eating very light.

Not very hungry today after pigging out yesterday. I'm eating very light.

I found a buyer for my iPod!
Calories eaten yesterday: 1247
Fat: 25g (19%)
Carbs: 74g (25%)
Protein: 171g (56%)
Weight this morning: 130.4 (One week ago: 130.4)
Calories burned in exercise today: 292
I did a lot of walking today! I walked to the laundromat and back, then down to the train station, then from my stop into work. Whew! I stopped at WalMart on the way for some stuff I needed. About 1 hour 40 minutes total.
I have a buyer for my iPod! Bill Thornton, one of the board members of the non-profit corporation I work for has agreed to buy it. He gave me $25 and said he'll pay $25 next month and $25 the month after that. I gave him the iPod and told him to download the latest version of iTunes. So yay! I can recoup the money I spent on the battery replacement. :)
Since it's payday I got online and bought some cool sleepwear. I got a "dog person" nightshirt for my sister (it'll make a good b-day present), a "I'm at the gym working out" nightshirt to replace the one I have that is getting really dingy (bleach only helps a little), and a "wine princess" pajama set for myself.
The prices are the best I've seen for Emerson Street nightwear. If you like what you see, the Emerson Street portion of this company's Website can be found here.

Work it, baby!
Calories eaten yesterday: 1090

Carbs: 78g (30%)
Protein: 142g (54%)
Weight this morning: 131.4 (One week ago: 130.6)
Calories burned in exercise today: 348
I think I need to change the weight "one week ago" to "one month ago." I think that would better show general trends. Maybe I can start that next week.
Another hard workout at the gym today. :) I did one hour of weight training. I didn't do as well as I wanted as it takes me three days to fully recover from my weight workouts and this was only two days.
Then I grabbed my iPod Touch and did the stairmaster for 30 minutes, mostly at level 5. I was dripping sweat all over the place and got my towel fairly wet. :)
I had a little extra time this morning so I stripped the bed and put new sheets and a new blanket on. I'll wash everything tomorrow. Fun laundry day...lol! At least I'll have my iPod Touch with me to catch up on all the Dividing Line podcasts I got behind in.

The iPod Touch & money issues
Calories eaten yesterday: 1248
Fat: 27g (20%)
Carbs: 74g (24%)
Protein: 171g (56%)
Weight this morning: 132 (One week ago: 132.6)
Calories burned in exercise today: 295
Stayed up late learning my way around my new iPod Touch, and worked on it more this morning. I think I have some of the basics down and I got my music and podcasts loaded. One thing I wish it came with is a stylus because some of the controls are hard to work using a finger. You also can't delete things from the home screen, only move them around.
I listened to a podcast on my way to work that I'd fallen behind in and tomorrow I'll listen to music during my cardio time at the gym. Yes, tomorrow I hope to hit the gym again and then Thursday is laundry and payday, and Friday is groceries. Hopefully I can walk with Brad on Saturday but with all the recent rain the trails are wet and muddy so that limits our options.
Exercise today - 1 hour of walking. I walked up to the back and then down to the 7-Eleven by the bridge where I bought a Big Gulp of Diet Coke and caught the bus into work.
My sister has been in contact with me and says she can transfer the money Dad used to give me directly into my bank account. She told me she set the transfer for the 11th each month and to check that day and see if the money is there. If this works out I will be so grateful! I have been scraping by with overtime the last month and now that is over. I used the property check that came yesterday to cover the iPod Mini battery replacement and a couple of bills. That ate up the entire amount.
The iPod Mini is still for sale. I got an offer from someone downstairs to buy it for $50. HA! It's $70 or nothing and I'll just hold onto it. Another guy at work looked at it but didn't want it because he's a guy and it's pink. I've had a couple of turn downs simply because of the color. :-p

My iPod Touch arrived!!!
Calories eaten yesterday: 909
Fat: 11g (11%)
Carbs: 100g (44%)
Protein: 105g (46%)
Weight this morning: 132.6 (One week ago: 133)
Calories burned in exercise today: 330
My iPod Touch arrived today! Yay! I can't wait to get home tonight and hook it up. :) I have both tomorrow and Wednesday free (I just need to run to the bank) so I think I will stay home tomorrow (and stay up late tonight) to learn my way around my new iPod, then hit the gym on Wednesday.
My iPod Mini finally arrived at Apple and it's already on it's way back. The property check came today so I am going to deposit it tomorrow since I already bought groceries with the money that was going to cover the iPod. So now I will be selling the iPod Mini if anyone wants it.
FOR SALE - Pink iPod Mini with all accessories included except ear buds. All software is included. ~BRAND NEW BATTERY.~ Holds 1,000 songs. Any payment accepted and I also have Paypal. Paypal or cash preferred.
$70 for in-person pickup, $75 with shipping. If paying by a method other than Paypal or cash, iPod will be held until payment clears. (Too many scammers - sorry!)
Anyone want it? It's still perfectly good and I'm only charging $70 because that's what Apple charged me for the new battery.
I made it to the gym today. Felt pretty good. :) I did one hour of weight training, 15 minutes on the stairmaster, and 15 walking on the treadmill with a little bit of jogging (covered one mile). Then I walked to work from the train station for another 30 minutes of walking.

Happy birthday to me! Today is my spiritual birthday. I'm losing track of the years, lol, but I'm finally into my teens - 13! :) May 3, 1996 I gave my life to God and I praise Him for His salvation. :)
I gained a bit this week. I ate way too much yesterday (I was weak, yes) and then I got into a fight with Brad and did some stress eating. So I gained about 0.3 lbs. for the week. :(
At least I did get on my mini trampoline and jog for one hour yesterday. But it wasn't enough to offset all the eating. Xena used to freak out over the mini trampoline. She was freaked out at first yesterday, but was later on the bed when I got on the trampoline and she didn't jump down, so she's becoming less afraid of it. :)
Today I'm doing liquids and soft foods only. I went for a 2 hour walk along the coast with Brad and then had a nonfat Chocolate Banana Vivanno from Starbucks (250 calories). I also bought a small nonfat, sugar-free latte (90 calories) for later today.
I have a couple protein shakes and cottage cheese for later. I may or my not eat all of it.
I forgot to say last week about my new iPod - it's being shipped from China! The belt clip came from somewhere nearby in California and I already have it, but the iPod has to be shipped across the ocean! *sigh* This is so stupid. Apple is located in Cupertino; why is the iPod coming from thousands of miles away, and why are they doing the work in China instead of making jobs in the U.S.?
Anyway, according to the tracking it should be here by tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.
