Living the Low Carb Life

Finally picked up this book today. So far I've just read through the introductory stuff - the forward and introduction - but this promises to be a GREAT book - the magnum opus of low carb. It profiles 17 low carb plans, talks about how they are supposed to work, and what he sees as potential problems with each one. He then gives them a rating between 0 and 5 stars. It comes as no surprise to me that the most effective and popular plans are generally the ones written by medical doctors and are the ones that get 5 stars. It makes sense - doctors are better trained than lay people in nutrition and internal medicine.

Anyway, everyone needs to read this book whether you like low carb diets or hate them and think they are unhealthy.

The South Beach Diet - 5 stars
