"You know, you should know that something you said a while ago really stuck with me. I don't remember it verbatim, but you were talking about how some of us just can't eat simple carbs the way other people can, for some of us it's just terrible (like poison?) for our bodies. I wanted you to know that coming to terms with the fact that I'm just one of those people has really helped with this process.
