I signed up for a weight loss challenge.
Starting stats:
Age: 35
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 144
BMI: 22.6
Body fat: 24%
My starting weight for this challenge is the same as yesterday. Body fat is 24% (as measured by a trainer at the gym). It was down to 22.5% at one time, but I gained some back. :( One quarter of my body is fat. Is that depressing or what? The scale at home (which does only the lower half of my body) says 27.4%!
I did do the 1.5 mile walk to work today in 25 minutes, stopping at Starbucks for a Chai tea sweetened with sugar free Vanilla syrup (only about 4 calories). I drank that as I worked on the Purpose Driven Life study for church, and then read The DaVinci Code. I finally broke halfway on that damn book today. We've finally met Sir Leigh Teabing, who I dislike already. Anyway, FitDay says 75 calories burned from the walking.
